We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our dedicated team. If you are AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified with some accountancy experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will support the finance team with various financial reports, while also ensuring that the accounts and finance function are following all statutory requirements and processes.
Financial Reporting
- Accurate reporting of Financial and non-Financial metrics for month-end reporting
- Accurate journal completion for a number of key group cost lines
- Ensure all allocated balance sheet reconciliations are completed, all reconciling items investigated and understood
- Long Range Financial Planning – assist with the completion of the annual budgeting process
- Ensure any central processing completed by the team is accurate and complete - for example, this may be fixed asset processing and reporting for all our family of companies
- Support the Financial Reporting Accountant with any statutory reporting
- End to end management accounting of our Ambius business for a period of time
Control Environment
- Ensure necessary controls and SOX standard controls are in place to guarantee accurate reporting of performance of the business.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to support their activities. Work proactively to close out any control issues they may raise
- Investigate and propose solutions to any control issues that arise during the year
- Investigate all drivers of business performance and ensure we understand exactly how results are generated
- Drive efficiency and accuracy through the team. Eradicate waste and drive standardisation of analysis and processes
Analysis & Ad-Hoc
- Support Financial Controller on projects & other ad-hoc assignments as they arise
Requirements:
- AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Previous accountancy experience
- Strong IT skills in particular with Excel
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
