Our Customer Service Teams are pivotal to the work we do at Rentokil Initial. By working in a customer service role, you will gain invaluable experience by providing world-class customer service to our new and existing customers.
The role of a Customer Service Agent is telephone-based throughout the day. You will often be the first point of contact when customers call our helpdesk, so you will need to be self-motivated and ensure every call has the same amount of enthusiasm and confidence.
The Customer Service Agent Role
As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service within our fast-paced contact centre environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for new, existing, and prospective customers, where you will handle both inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and care. Your ability to clearly understand our services, products, and procedures will ensure that every customer interaction is smooth, helpful, and solutions-driven.
In this role, you will use our in-house systems to accurately log customer queries and help resolve a wide range of issues efficiently. Success in this position means not only providing friendly and informed assistance, but also working consistently towards individual and team performance targets. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction and help strengthen the reputation of our brand.
Training
You will receive extensive training when you start with us to support you in becoming the best customer service agent you can be!
On the Job
You spend time with a buddy to understand the role and the types of calls received daily.
E-learning
All agents have access to our E-learning facility which contains a variety of training modules.
Assessments
We utilise Assessments, Quizzes and Role Play situations to support with agent development.
Refresher Sessions
The training doesn't stop after your induction! We continue to train you throughout your career with Rentokil Initial.
