Our commitment to our apprentices has been recognised by Ofsted (in our latest report published September 2025), which highlighted the "exceptional levels of care and support" our apprentices receive. They even noted that our leaders are "passionate advocates" for giving people better life chances through continued learning.

But the real secret is our SCORE DNA (Sustainability, Care, Ownership, Results, Expertise). Our Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship is built directly around these SCORE behaviours. This focus ensures our apprentices are equipped to meet our primary business goal: delivering world-class customer service in every customer interaction.

One of our core values is to "promote from within." Our apprenticeships aren’t just a course to be completed and forgotten; they are the first step on a long-term career ladder right here at Rentokil Initial. As of January 2026, over 150 colleagues who completed their apprenticeships have already been promoted into new roles! People have moved up to become Field Biologists, Sales Consultants, Team Leaders, and even Local Operations Managers. Just like Ofsted observed, our "Apprentices are ambitious, and many move into more responsible roles."
