Contract and Commercial Manager (Technology Services)

As the Contract Manager within all relevant IT teams, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier performance is tracked against contractual obligations, delivery commitments, and service expectations. The role will provide ongoing governance and oversight for major supplier relationships covering change, build and run IT services.

Purpose of the role:

• Contract Management: Managing operational level aspects of 3rd party contracts in line with contractual obligations, commercial good practice, robust financial controls and required legal standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Generation of evidence-based information that demonstrates accurate supplier performance against contractual service levels and Key Performance Indicators.
• Supplier Governance: Maintenance and operation of supplier governance cadence
• Stakeholder Management: Maintenance of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Subject Matter Expertise: Provision of advice, support and guidance covering the full spectrum of 3rd party service provision to internal stakeholders, ensuring delivery risks are commercially mitigated and engagements are robust, well-defined and enable ongoing management of high quality service delivery 
• Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement in supplier performance, reporting, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience managing high-value suppliers or third-party delivery partners within technology or digital environments.
• Strong understanding of supplier governance, commercial management, and contractual oversight.
• Experience monitoring supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Relevant degree in Business, Technology, Procurement, or a related discipline desirable.
• Commercial, supplier management, or procurement certifications such as CIPS, beneficial
• ITIL, Agile, or delivery-related qualifications advantageous.
