We are looking for a HRIS Lead to own and manage our Workday system. The role is responsible for improving our existing HR system and processes and will work closely with the HR Tech Portfolio Lead to strategize and deliver key projects.

  • Ownership of the RI Workday tenant for HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Time & Attendance and Expenses needs globally, reducing admin and driving productivity.
  • Responsibility for our current workday team; managing this team and focussing on supporting and developing our internal capability will be key
  • Provide deep Workday expertise to provide technical solutions across all our modules and guide strategic design decisions. This role will have a hands-on element, working with the team to ensure quality in the work delivered.
  • Inputting into product roadmap development to ensure delivery of BAU support across multiple HR calendar activities whilst driving enhancements and optimisation of Workday.
  • Working with HR and IT stakeholders globally to drive enhancements and optimisation of Workday, whilst growing brand of HR Technology internally at RI
  • Responsibility for the current workday team ensuring efficiency and quality across delivery
  • Ability to support and develop internal capability of team whilst growing brand of HR Technology internally at RI
  • Supports the team in estimating features (Points per Sprint vs Capacity) and setting sprint priorities (from the backlog).
  • Ensures delivery of BAU support across multiple HR calendar activities (annual performance cycle and compensation review)
  • Manages bi-annual Workday release management to ensure quality of product releases across all areas(Functional, Performance, Security)
  • Provides technical and best practice Workday solutions across all modules
  • Develop product roadmap in collaboration with HR Tech Portfolio Lead to drive enhancements and optimisation of Workday.
  • Develops and owns governance framework to ensure effective release management
  • Negotiates with HR and IT stakeholders at senior levels, to build strong working relationships and drive enhancements and optimisation of Workday. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding.
  • Promotes quality and ensures that the product teams follow the RI standard, policies and guidelines in delivering their work.
  • Ensures the team's compliance to RI business processes and policies, especially the development process and the life cycle management process.
  • Responsible for Support Services and maintenance of the product(s) including application support and second line support.
  • User Experience and Learning

Requirements:

  • Deep experience in HRIS products including Workday with deep experience in at least two module areas
  • EITHER experience of deployment of Workday with a service partner
  • OR Demonstrable skills across the Product Management life cycle, with experience BAU and Optimisation of Workday product with at least one customer.
  • Deep practical understanding of product management activities and driving improvements within the business.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders given the agreed product strategy and plan.
  • Educated to bachelor degree level and holds a relevant professional qualification
