Workstream Lead

● To support the Marketing and Innovation (M&I) Regulatory Team and contribute to the team’s effectiveness (commercially and technically), to ensure that activities are fully integrated and aligned to add value to the RI Businesses, including translating complex Regulatory requirements to the layperson.

● To act as the Regulatory contact point for all Rentokil Initial businesses worldwide (focused on Hygiene) with timely delivery of support. Providing Regulatory support for other Rentokil Initial businesses where required.

● To provide optimum Regulatory support to M&I projects, and how regulatory activities might be exploited within specific areas of the business strategy to add value (via differentiation, regulatory registrations, and thought leadership) to the operating businesses. Compliance

● To ensure Regulatory compliance within Rentokil Initial operating businesses and for all Rentokil Initial products worldwide (focused on Hygiene). Where necessary develop and drive the appropriate corrective actions to resolve identified issues within appropriate timeframes.

● Own RI Chemical data management systems and lead team to drive compliance.

● Perform QA management duties on behalf of the GLP compliance, ensuring systems are properly adhered to, and that audit schedules are developed and implemented in a timely manner. Lead, whenever required to do so, MHRA audits to maintain GLP certification and ensure that any corrective actions arising are addressed in a timely manner.

● Provide in, and out of hours support for the emergency response service (ERS).

Horizon Planning

● To ensure that M&I, the Regions and the Categories within Rentokil Initial are kept aware of relevant changes in regulation and legislation that impact / might impact upon our businesses worldwide, now or in the future and support the businesses in the development of operational strategies to deal with regulatory change.

● Own the Regulatory horizon road map for hygiene and be able translate to commercial

Requirements:

● A minimum of a good honours degree in a scientific or similar discipline. science graduate with a proven track record in QA and chemical regulatory affairs or product safety.

● Experience working directly with a QA Management System such as GLP or similar is essential.

● Demonstrable regulatory supervisory experience.

● Excellent knowledge of the global regulatory framework for chemical products and services. Specifically with regard to the registration, safe use, hazards, transportation and disposal of chemical products.

● Good commercial awareness – Can communicate with the business in commercial terms.

● Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Meticulous and detailed in their quality of work.

● Experience of product registrations and legislation globally is essential.

● Relevant know-how and experience in regulatory affairs.

● A natural team leader with the ability to influence key stakeholders.

● Strong data analysis skills with a process driven, problem solving mind-set.

● Good project management experience. Good at implementing projects from start to completion.
