FP&A Analyst
Up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience with quarterly bonus of up to £750 per quarter
Full Time - Permanent
Hybrid Working 5 days per month in the office
Rentokil Initial, a FTSE100 company, is one of the largest business service companies in the world comprising a number of global brands including Rentokil, Initial and Ambius. In the UK we have 10 businesses covering a range of business services from pest control, washroom hygiene, specialist cleaning, interior plants through to property preservation & dental & clinical waste management.
We are currently recruiting for an FP&A Analyst that will be responsible for reporting on our marketing spend & sales analysis
Financial reporting;
Delivery of accurate and timely management information:
- Daily and weekly reporting of sales information.
- Monthly reporting of key account and local sales, along with regular performance reviews with sales management.
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior management.
- To provide commentary and investigate changes in management information to add value to reports and aid understanding of changing business performance.
- To respond to queries with data accuracy and follow up with investigations of data sources where required.
- To change and adapt management information as required to meet business needs.
- To provide Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning support to the Financial Controller and the management accountant.
- To provide assistance and support to the Management Accountants to ensure the accuracy of accounting information.
- To actively support the Finance Team in the successful delivery of key business initiatives and projects.
Analysis
- Maintain open and good relations with the area sales director, operations directors and the branch managers.
- Support their understanding of key financial processes and measures, and their role in providing timely and good quality information to support business processes.
- Challenge and develop their understanding of commercial performance measures and suggest ways to improve.
- Provide assistance and support to their reporting and data needs to manage their business.
- Understand challenges, customer and business performance issues that are specific to individual areas.
- Provide explanation and understanding of Budget targets to branch managers, and collate feedback to Finance of key issues.
Requirements:
Essential
- Relevant finance qualification or degree
- Relevant experience
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Desirable
- Intermediate Excel experience, including formulas
