The basics...
- The IT Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring completion of all compliance activities and controls across GIS.
- The role will focus on continuously tracking compliance activities and controls to ensure completion, identifying gaps,and reporting findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with IT teams, business units, and management to ensure everyone understands and adheres to compliance requirements and they are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- The role will be responsible for preparing content to aid with operating of controls and working closely with control owners to improve the process and templates as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in compliance or other relevant discipline is desirable
- Displays a responsible attitude to following procedures, keeping records, and caring for equipment and other assets.
- Ownership: demonstrates a desire and ability to own tasks and actions and deliver to high levels of quality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions to deliver required outcomes
- Team work - Working co-operatively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify compliance gaps, and develop effective solutions.
- Decision-Making: Making informed decisions based on risks, benefits, and compliance requirements.
- Communication (Written & Verbal): Effectively communicating complex technical and legal information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project Management: managing compliance projects effectively.
- Research and Learning: Actively staying updated on evolving regulations, security threats, and emerging technologies.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance adherence and identify potential issues.
