Be part of the team responsible for the maintenance and improvement of a SOX compliance programme for the Group, focused on the IT systems
Main tasks
● Lead the set up and management of Teammate to align with the country controls, record the control description, testing procedures and results
● Work closely with the Finance Analyst to use available data to report on the status of controls with the use of dashboards
● Drive consistency in system usage and recording of data by working with the country Internal Control leads
● Responsible for maintaining defined Risk and Control Matrices in TeamMate
● Responsible for maintaining accurate Key Financial Control records in TeamMate, and liaising with Regional Finance Directors to ensure completion of agreed actions.
● Provide ad-hoc reporting on Key Financial Controls to the Group Financial Controller and the Finance Leadership Team
● Assist with testing of Internal Controls as required as part of the annual SOX compliance process
● Work with the Finance systems team to deliver IT improvements for IT General Controls in the Finance function
● Support Finance Process Improvement initiatives
● Support the Internal Audit function in recording Audit results in TeamMate by providing training and advising on best practise
Requirements:
Essential
● Proven experience of working with multiple IT systems
● Previous experience of system set up to document and report internal control testing
● Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
● Previous experience of either Internal Audit or Internal Controls
Desirable
● Experience of working in a complex, multi-priority organisation..
● Experience of Finance systems and technology
● Project management experience
● Experience of US SOX requirements or Internal Controls
