The Global Citrix Application Streaming Technical Specialist will work closely with the projects teams, Data Center Operations Engineers and Operations Control Center colleagues globally to deliver solutions to support projects and operational service improvement.

Operating within the Rentokil Initial IT Service Management (ITSM) Framework, day to day tasks will be driven by the Global Citrix

Application Streaming Technical Specialist responsible for the implementation of project initiatives across the global environment, servicing Rentokil initial business units


- Citrix subscription / ADC licence management (Purchasing, renewing and inventory management)

- Upgrade, Patch and Configure Citrix Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) Netscaler Appliances

- Upgrade, Patch and Configure Citrix Application Delivery Management (ADM) Appliances

- Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops Hygiene - Auditing and implementation of IT Best practices.

- Citrix Provisioning Services - Creating, upgrading, migrating vDisks and implementing best practises

- Configuring Citrix Application Layering

- Citrix Application Configuration & Data migrations

- Global Service Ownership (Citrix / Application Streaming / ADC) - Work with the regional Data Center operations engineers to

deliver up to date heatmaps and implement global standards for the EMEA region.

- Ensure proactive measures are taken to ensure the high availability of services.

- Driving security standards in all regions globally including remediation of out of date operating systems, security policies and

infrastructure hardening.

- Uses system management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.

- Carries out agreed system software maintenance tasks.

- Document tasks, system implementations and upgrades

- Carries out documented configuration, installation & maintenance of the systems as per the agreed operational procedure.

Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution.

- be the final point of contact/escalation for Citrix Infrastructure issues


Required Experience

  • Practical experience gained in at least one of the following scenarios:
  • 5 years minimum experience working in an IT Service Delivery or Service Support role
  • 2 years minimum experience working in a architecture specialist role


  • ITIL ® Foundation in IT Service Management
  • CCA-P (Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization)
  • CCA-V (Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization)
