Rentokil Initial’s Global Accounts sales team are responsible for managing relationships with our largest multinational clients. We are a small, dynamic, hard-working, and friendly team focused on delivering exceptional customer service and support.

We seek a proactive and highly organised Global Account Manager to join our high-performing global sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for retaining and expanding a £30M+ portfolio of accounts, working with some of the largest global brands.

Your focus will be driving geographical expansion, upselling, cross-selling, and introducing innovative solutions aligning with customer business objectives. You will work closely with National and Key Account teams to maximise our services across customer footprints.

As the Global Account Manager supporting our Facilities Management sector partners, you will foster long-term customer relationships, collaborating to drive sustained, profitable growth and secure new business opportunities by leveraging our world-class pest management, hygiene services, and wellbeing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills and a passion for business development and building lasting customer relationships.

  • Drive Growth and Expansion – Develop and implement customised business plans to strengthen customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and accelerate business development.
  • Proactive Retention – Responsible for retaining the existing customer base by ensuring positive engagement and proactively negotiating renewals and extending agreements.
  • Internal collaboration – Collaborate with National and Key Account teams to leverage growth opportunities while coordinating teams to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service delivery.
  • Dedicated account management – Serve as the single point of contact for global issue resolution, ensuring detailed quarterly reporting and full KPI management.
  • Maximise and leverage solution opportunity – Champion cross-selling initiatives and drive the adoption of Rentokil Initial group innovations across all business categories.
  • Profitability & Margin optimisation – Drive sustainable profitability through continuous commercial analysis, internal reporting, and margin optimisation while supporting business expansion by actively contributing to the RFP and tender process to secure new accounts.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of account management experience, with customer care or operations experience, preferably in the B2B service industry, is required.
  • Experience in leading business reviews and managing KPIs to support strategic partnerships while identifying growth and relationship expansion opportunities.
  • Experience in applying Miller Heiman or similar methodologies to assess and develop strategies for expanding and strengthening customer relationships, coupled with the ability to perform detailed commercial analysis to drive profitability and growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Experience in working with sales colleagues across multiple countries and regions.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft / Google, CRM and other IT systems.
  • Willing to undertake International travel (30%)
  • Fluency in English with a second European language preferred.
