As a Business Analyst within this team, you'll be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technological

solutions. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and opportunities, gathering the

necessary information to support clear business cases with quantifiable benefits. Your expertise will then be key in translating

these into comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements. You'll also collaborate with the business to help them

create appropriate user acceptance test scenarios, ensuring readiness for successful deployment. Join us in transforming

Main Purpose of role

- Champion business value: Help to clearly define and articulate the business justification for application projects that introduce

new or improved processes.

- Translate vision into actionable requirements: Gather a deep understanding of current operations, define future state business

processes, and translate these into clear, actionable User Stories that guide our development teams.

- Support quality assurance: Partner with clients and users to define robust acceptance test scenarios, empowering them to

validate that solutions meet business needs.

- Facilitate successful adoption: Provide essential transition support and

contribute to change delivery efforts, ensuring our user community effectively

adopts new systems and realizes the intended business benefits.

Tasks and Responsibilities

● Strategic Investigation & Opportunity Identification: Lead investigative work to pinpoint significant business opportunities and define effective new or improved business processes. Specify how these improvements can be realized through advancements in information systems, data management, operational practices, organizational structures, and equipment.

● High-Level Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate extensively with senior client and IT staff on strategic studies, detailed requirements specifications, and feasibility analyses. Ensure all stakeholder perspectives are thoroughly considered,verified, and validated, and that priorities align with overarching business objectives.

● Bridging Business & Technology: Leverage your business acumen to assess and advise on the practicality of different solution alternatives, skillfully integrating technical possibilities with operational realities. Take the lead in the detailed specification and modeling of recommended solutions, applying relevant resources, standards, methods, and tools. Maintain strong relationships with software engineering and service delivery teams, playing a full part in bringing systems to successful implementation.

● Documentation & Agile Delivery: Eliciting, analysing, and documenting detailed requirements. Crafting clear, concise, and actionable User Stories and acceptance criteria that accurately represent business needs, and guide our development teams. Analysing current and future state business processes, identifying gaps, and proposing optimisations. Apply established standards, methods, and tools effectively to produce consistently high-quality documentation, covering both technical details and descriptive aspects. Actively participate in planning and facilitating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement throughout system investigations and subsequent development work. Working closely with Product Owners to refine and groom the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritised, and ready for development. Participating. actively in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to provide clarity and context to the development team.

● Business Readiness & Change Management: Conduct comprehensive business impact assessments to understand how proposed changes will affect business units and individual roles. Providing ongoing clarification to development and testing teams during sprints to ensure solutions align with business intent. Develop and execute business readiness plans, encompassing IT deployment, data migration, capability development (training and engagement), and all necessary activities to integrate new processes or roles into daily operations. Assess the readiness levels of business users for upcoming changes, identify any gaps, and create and implement action plans to close these gaps before go-live. Assist the user community with transition support and change planning, working closely with the project team. Track and report on progress against business readiness targets, business engagement activities, training design and deployment, key operational metrics, and measures of return to productivity. Supporting the business in defining and preparing user acceptance test scenarios, ensuring they can effectively validate solutions against their needs, providing essential support as they take responsibility for test execution.

Requirements:

● Has achieved proficiency in the Task of Business analysis

● Performs work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects.

● Has excellent interpersonal skills and is fully experienced at dealing with clients/users.

● Possesses a broad understanding of business and business skills, and understands the significance of commercial constraints.

● Probably educated to bachelor degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification.

● Has a comprehensive knowledge of relevant development life-cycles, and the environment in which they operate. Understands the interdependencies of business processes and information systems.

● Has achieved proficiency in the task of Requirements definition and management

● Is experienced in communicating with clients at all levels, singly and in groups. Possesses an extensive knowledge of business and business Skills and understands the significance of commercial constraints.
