Contract: Full Time 37.5 hours per week, Permanent

We now have a carbon negative business who’s teams install planting in, on and around the buildings of the companies we partner with. We are happiest while we are landscaping, installing indoor planting schemes or maintaining the plants or grounds of our clients.
The Role:
The purpose of this role is to increase understanding of and support sales and operations with large installations and Specialist Services Related Opportunities.
Project Managers are responsible for positively promoting the installations and specialist services offered by Urban Planters and to act in a professional manner at all times. The latest Health & Safety and Environmental regulations should be complied with at all times along with adhering to all Urban Planters guidelines, manuals, booklets and printed correspondence.
Key responsibilities:
Sales Understanding and Support of Large Installations/Specialist Sales:
- To aid the Sales Force in identifying & scoping out large installations and Specialist Services Related Opportunities.
- To support Sales Force with large installations and Specialist Services Work - Supporting with customer surveys, system/solution identification, reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
- Assist the Urban Sales Consultant on complex bespoke designs and deliver on the project installation.
Service Delivery Support & Competence of Specialist Sales:
- To liaise with Branch Managers to support large/complex installations & specialist services, remotely or in person
- To spend field time with Install teams to aid development and support on large/complex installations - Important to adopt a hands-on approach to coach, mentor and train the Service Team on large/complex installations & specialist services.
- To attend large Job meetings as and when required.
- To positively promote Urban Planters Specialist Services.
- During installations, the Project Manager holds the responsibility to make sure all agreed works are completed to the highest possible standards.
- To maintain and use responsibly all Urban Planters equipment as well as sub-contractors equipment.
- Ensure Company service practices are met and identify opportunities to improve service standards.
Administration:
- To support operations with correct stock ordering for large/complex installations and specialist services jobs.
- Responsible for reviewing Quotes, Costing Sheets and H&S Documents within agreed timescales on Large/complex installations & specialist services.
Other:
- To actively network with other Project Managers in exchanging best practices for large installations and Specialist Services, as well as communicating these with the Urban Planters business.
- To ensure the business instructions regarding the Health & Safety of staff and customers, other site contractors, the public and the environment are followed.
- To perform any other reasonable duties that may arise in performing the job. This includes working flexibly which includes out of hours work and overnight stays when required by customers and business needs.
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience:
- Ideally have a detailed and technical understanding of large installations and Specialist Services and products.
- Landscaping experience an advantage
- Health and Safety awareness and requirements.
- Proven development experience.
