We are currently seeking motivated and friendly individuals to serve as Field Biologists within the Guildford/Surrey area! You will provide pest control services to a wide range of loyal clients, using your customer service and problem-solving talents to determine the most effective and appropriate solutions to their individual pest issues. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake inspections of premises, plant and commodities in order to determine the presence and assess the extent and origin of infestation of all species of pests.
  • Carry out investigations in clients’ premises in the event of a serious problem.
  • Submit accurate and meaningful reports on infestation, proofing, housekeeping and all other aspects of pest control in a client’s premises.
  • Discuss in full with the client the results of all inspections carried out.
  • Assess and report on the quality of service found in a client’s premises during an inspection and take immediate action to ensure any faults are found and rectified.
  • Estimate the prices of services to be provided by the Company.

Requirements:

Essential criteria:

  • Either a degree in a biological subject or having held a Technician role for at least one year and a pass mark in the BPCA Part 2 exam (or equivalent).
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management

Desirable criteria:

  • Up to date knowledge of current legislation
  • Technical knowledge
