Field Biologist - Hit Squad - Required to support various branches throughout the UK. Please be advised that you will be required to travel and stay in hotels as part of this role. Candidates should possess or be working towards their level 3 pest control qualification.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake inspections of premises, plant and commodities in order to determine the presence and assess the extent and origin of infestation of all species of pests.
  • Carry out investigations in clients’ premises in the event of a serious problem.
  • Submit accurate and meaningful reports on infestation, proofing, housekeeping and all other aspects of pest control in a client’s premises.
  • Discuss in full with the client the results of all inspections carried out.
  • Assess and report on the quality of service found in a client’s premises during an inspection and take immediate action to ensure any faults are found and rectified.
  • Estimate the prices of services to be provided by the Company

Requirements:

Essential criteria:

  • Either a degree in a biological subject or having held a Technician role for at least one year and a pass mark in the BPCA Part 2 exam (or equivalent).
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management

Desirable criteria:

  • Up to date knowledge of current legislation
  • Technical knowledge
